Caitlin Brunell, a senior at Providence High School in Jacksonville, FL, has long been involved with her family's foundation. In 2006 she branched out on her own, organized and founded Caitlin's Closet to help those young women who would love to attend extracurricular school functions but many times find it difficult because of financial restraints. Caitlin collects and distributes new and gently used party, homecoming and prom apparel to those in need. Since it's inception, Caitlin's Closet has collected and donated over 6,000 dresses across the county. Partnering with many charitable organizations such as The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, The Tyra Banks TZone foundation, Peaceaholics, Fosters Closet, various Sororities and Fraternities, Churches, and High Schools from coast to coast Caitlin's Closet has made a true impact in the lives of others. Caitlin's Closet has also been a apart of USA Today's National Make a Difference Day, featured in various teen magazines, and is constantly looking for new ways to reach these young women in need. So many young ladies have had the chance to look and feel beautiful from the inside out thanks to Caitlin's Closet and the people who help support our efforts.

Caitlin would love to have others join her in her endeavor and what might be an outcast gown to you might be a treasure to another young lady.  Please contact Caitlin at brunellfoundation@hotmail.com if you have any gown donations to be made or are in need of a gown.
